State Committee of Statistics reports that the rate of inflation in March 2005 has increased from 1,0% (in February 2005) to 1,6%. The inflation in the first quarter of 2005 made up to 4,4%.
The total amount of direct foreign investments into the economy of Kiev on the cumulative results on the 1st January 2005 has increased for 26,4% in comparison with the beginning of 2004 and made up $ 2,684 milliards or $ 1013,7 per head.

  During the last three years the trade space market is one of the most dynamically developing segments of Kiev commercial real estate. The low rate of housing market variety and its high potential determine high profitability of investments into trading premises development: at the present moment such investments are repaid twice or three times quicker than in western Europe.
